I was asked a few days ago, Leb are we going to have something for September for our ONV discussion?
I said, We probably should. Do you have any ideas?
The reply back was, Let me see what I can do.
A day later I received an Email with some images attached and thought they were just great and perfect as the theme of September's ONV discussion. So Thank You again MinnieApolis for contributing your wonderful montages for ONV's 'Something for September' discussion. :o)

Welcome to the ONV discussion for September 2013. There are currently 447 or so members now and this is the place to discus nation business or just say hello to friends that you have been missing. I would like this to be a place where questions or concerns can be addressed quickly.
As you can see this is also a place to have some fun and to learn more about using NV, the Good, the Bad, and the Fugly. If you have any questions please feel free to ask them in the comments below and it is best to start a new thread. Somebody will have an answer :o)
Is it still true what Momma always said? That NewsVine is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get. So far, yes it is :o)

Bubba - Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it.

September comes from the Latin word septem which means seven. The calendar we use was adopted from the Romans, who named most of the months after their gods and rulers. The Romans believed that the month of September was looked after by the god, Vulcan. As the god of the fire and forge they therefore expected September to be associated with fires, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.
Talk about Something for September – Keep an eye out for news on the salvage of the Costa Concordia. The plan is to start raising the ship as early as this week.
The man in charge of salvaging the wreck of the Costa Concordia which crashed off the coast of Tuscany last year has warned the massive luxury cruise ship could fracture when it is rotated in early September.
Nick Sloane, the 52-year-old engineer who heads the world's most biggest-ever marine salvage operation, is awaiting final approval from Italian authorities to rotate the ship in the first week of September… More
This is a tremendous project to raise the Costa Concordia and to learn more you can watch the CBS 60 Minutes segment:
Costa Concordia: Salvaging a shipwreck
which aired on Dec. 16, 2012, and was rebroadcast on Sept. 1, 2013.
